Expanding the scope of emissions and vehicle testing

We have long experience in RDE testing, using two modern PEMS units from AVL and Horiba. Additionally, we carefully selected compliant and non-compliant routes in the area of Thessaloniki to cover all driving conditions and styles, including very dynamic tests. We use AVL Smart Mobile Solutions, a state-of-the-art on board software which provides all the necessary information to the driver in real time (RDE dynamics) to ensure the RDE test is compliant to the regulation or within the test-specific targets. All data are processed by the supplier software like AVL Concerto, which ensure up to date and reliable results.

We able to test passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, two or four wheel driven, conventional, hybrid or full electric on an AVL state-of-the-art chassis dyno, over regulated driving cycles or simulated RDE tests. It is also possible to test motorcycles and two wheelers on the recently modified in-house chassis dyno.

Our testing parameter expansion will also include temperature fluctuations, from a cold start at -30 C to + 40 C. As well as increased emissions there is significant decrease in batteries’ capacity to withhold and provide charge.
